When Artisan visited Chicago for the first time to play Radio WFMT's FolkStage they never expected to end up with a live album, but then again, they never expected state of the art microphones, a great mix engineer in Eric Arunas, a fantastic studio audience and a glitch-free full hour radio concert, without interruptions for adverts. And here it is, on CD. Songs and links, the essential Artisan. Anyone really missing being able to see Artisan live on stage can have a little piece of them in their living room. Combine it with the DVD (See offer above) for the complete memento. |

We think this is probably our best studio album yet (but then we're probably biased!) Fourteen brilliant songs from the pen of Brian Bedford and the tonsils of Artisan. A definite contemporary flavour with jazz and gospel influences and also some of the most sumptuous harmonies you'll hear. Includes 'I Saw Another You' and 'Farewell Song' |

This is classic Artisan. Twenty songs by Brian Bedford in Artisan's unique harmony style. There are songs about love, the environment, stupidity, breathless beauty, politics and ghosts. Some are serious, some are not! Listen to a snatch from Breathing Space |

Half the songs on here are Brian Bedford's and half are by contemporary songwriters including Anne Lister, Pete Morton and Huw Williams. Includes Brian's much requested "What's the Use of Wings". The sound is uniquely Artisan. A blend of gutsy vocal energy and velevet harmonies. |

Not an Artisan album, though Artisan provides backing vocals for many of the songs. A collection written and performed by teenagers from three Yorkshire schools, tutored, guided and produced by Brian Bedford, who spent a year as Composer in Education. A unique project and a delightful and very entertaining album. These kids wear their hears on their sleeves writing about what matters to them - from a song about pit closures by a group of twelve year olds and animal rights, loneliness, homelessness to the inevitable romance songs (some given new insights with titles like 'Stuff You Boy' getting right to the heart of the matter). 24 songs and tunes |
